We’re deeply rooted in the Great Southern and known across WA for safe, responsive delivery. We understand the terrain, respect the people, and show up ready to work.
From local councils to Tier 1s, we’re a reliable delivery partner — WALGA prequalified, DFES registered and known for delivering complex scopes under pressure.
We’re procurement-ready and safety-certified — but we still answer the phone, honor our word and take pride in the details.
Founded in 1997, MCC Contractors is a family-owned civil construction and vegetation services business based in Denmark, WA. We’ve evolved from forestry to full-scope infrastructure, supporting councils, agencies and contractors with services that span roads, culverts, fire mitigation, disaster response and transport. Our team combines deep local knowledge, certified systems, and owned fleet with the values of a regional business that cares about results and relationships.
We deliver full-scope road construction packages including culverts, drainage, base prep and asphalt across government and council programs.
From driveways to kerbing and footpaths, we deliver shire maintenance and small projects professionally, safely and on time.
We manage roadside clearing, firebreaks, slashing and mulching to help reduce risk and maintain public access safely.
We transport plant, equipment and materials to job sites with our own fleet and drivers, giving us total control of logistics.
We mobilise fast to restore flood-damaged infrastructure, clear roads and support fire and storm recovery programs.
We provide site crews, haulage, vegetation and earthworks for Tier 1 and 2 contractors delivering remote and regional infrastructure.

The Shire of Denmark commissioned upgrades to Lights Road (linking South Coast Highway to Lights Beach) in 2024 to improve drainage, reconstruct pavement, replace culverts, and preserve its forested environment while managing tourist-season traffic. MCC deployed an 8-person crew plus supervisor, pruning trees, stabilising wet zones, installing kerbing, line marking and improving drainage. Despite weather delays, works were completed under an extension. The upgrade made the road safer, more resilient, aesthetically intact, and gained strong community support.
Lights Road links South Coast Highway to Lights Beach and is vital for tourism, farming and local transport. MCC was engaged by the Shire of Denmark to reconstruct the pavement, replace culverts and improve drainage — all while preserving the heavily treed environment and managing tourist-season traffic disruptions.
We deployed an 8-person crew and full-time Supervisor to deliver the entire scope — from tree pruning and mulching to pavement, drainage, kerbing and line marking. We stabilised wet zones using lime rubble and cement-bound base. Liaising closely with residents and the Shire, we balanced environmental care with infrastructure upgrades and implemented a detailed TMP to maintain access during road closures.
Despite delays caused by weather, works were completed under an agreed extension. Lights Road is now safer, better drained and more resilient, while its forested aesthetics remain intact. The outcome met stakeholder expectations and received strong community support.
We work across public and private sectors to deliver infrastructure that protects communities, supports economic growth, and restores access after disaster. Our experience ranges from council footpaths to flood recovery, and from vegetation works to full-scope road packages. MCC supports regional WA with professional, high-quality delivery tailored to the needs of each sector.
